1st Annual Meeting of the Texas Prescribed Fire Council

Please save August 8^th on your calendar for the first annual meeting of the Texas Prescribed Fire Council. We will be meeting from approximately 9:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin. They were gracious enough to host us.

There will obviously be more information coming soon regarding the agenda, but the meeting’s focus will be on election of officers and organization of Committees. We have a lot to do to create the high-powered, transformative organization that we all want, so come prepared to participate.

In the near future you will be receiving information on the nomination process for our new Board. We will need to identify and engage our best, and hardest working, leaders if we hope to create real change in the domain of prescribed fire in Texas.
